Through collaboration with your Co-Volunteer Run Director you will lead meetings, motivate the committee, and act as a local ambassador for the organization. You will assist in identifying vacant committee positions and work with your fellow committee members to fill any voids.

This is an opportunity to make a difference for future generations. Once a year, on the Saturday closest to Earth Day, volunteers plant thousands of trees to create a mixed forest to replace 100 acres of open fields near Guelph Lake.  
 
You need to be able to walk. That's about it! Wear sturdy footwear and clothing that's appropriate for the weather. Grand River Conservation Authority and Rotary will show you how to plant trees so that they survive. Bring a friend, a family or a team from work for more fun.

Responsible to assist walkers along route at key intersections or critical corners. Generally encouraging, cheering and celebrating each walker as they navigate the route.

Coordinators: are involved in running the program and they perform tasks such as ordering the food.

Grocery shoppers: compile lists depending on the planned menu, buy and store the food appropriately and ensure that all receipts go to the Administrators. 
Administrators: are involved with the program paper work, they track receipts and do budgeting and fundraising.

Adult volunteers are needed to stock shelves, serve clients and sort / put away incoming food donations. Volunteers will also assemble Member Agency Orders, rotate stock and complete some general maintenance duties.
Guelph Hiking Trail Club
Trail runs from Guelph to Limehouse.Section responsibility negotiable.
Reports to Radial Line Trail Coordinator. 
Responsible for one of 8 sections of the Radial Line Trail. 
Duties include spring and autumn inspection of trail and submission of a one page trail status report. 
Light maintenance activities to ensure trail is passable and hiker friendly. 
Spring meeting with other section leaders to assess what support is necessary for trail improvement. 
Access to equipment and additional support through coordinator.
Lakeside HOPE House
Supervise Volunteer groups cooking, serving and cleaning up breakfast for 75-150 people everyday Wednesday morning from 8:45am - 11:30am. Breakfast consists of Pancakes, Eggs, Toast and Sausages.
