Guelph Dance
Guelph Dance is a wonderful arts organization to be apart of because it is small and the people that are involved are truly committed to creating fabulous programming. The commitment is high and there is room for creativity and innovation; because of its size, your voice can be heard. Guelph Dance is in its 23rd year and it has created a very unique and exciting contemporary dance festival that proves to awe audiences every year. Additionally we offer a variety of educational and community engagement programming year round.

We are currently looking for new blood to join our Board of Directors and seek to involve people from diverse backgrounds, abilities and ages, who have expertise in sectors outside the arts and can support our fundraising and strategic initiatives such as policy development, succession planning, community outreach and long term sustainability.

Guelph CHC's program, WE Breastfeed and Chestfeed supports parents feeding human milk in any way, in any amount. Parents can receive support in two ways. One-to-one telephone support with trained and experienced parent-volunteers or weekly online Breastfeeding Cafes.

Administrative support volunteers work with the program coordinator and support data collection, scheduling volunteers, program evaluation entry, assist with digital marketing plan development and distribution of promotional material.

This would be a great role for someone who is interested in learning more about breast or chestfeeding, program coordination and promotion or needs to get their 40 OSSD hours.

IMPORTANT information: Volunteers in this role do not need breast or chestfeeding experience. They do need to have an enthusiastic and positive attitude towards breast or chestfeeding and human milk.
