Mentors will ideally own a Mac computer.
Ideal mentor candidates will have programming expertise and experience in a Mac environment, including knowledge of alternate coding languages.
Placement involves developing a virtual app using SWIFT programming language, which the mentor will provide some guidance on.
Students’ are also in contact with a mentor (YOU?) to guide learning (1-2/per week) - virtually.
Final task involves presenting and pitching the created virtual applications. Mentors are invited to attend.
Mentorship information session will be provided prior to the first session starting.
Interested mentors will have the option to assist with additional groups of students in the future (through the Career Education Council)
*Cameras will be on a per-need basis while Powerpoint and Sound board coverage are required weekly
