This program is open to children from kindergarten to grade 8 and takes place at the West End Community Centre, which provides an informal learning environment. Tutors work one on one with learners to help them with homework for the first half of the program. The group then finishes with a fun writing activity or learning game.

This lunch time program pairs volunteers with children to encourage learning, socializing and fun! Everyone comes together to eat lunch and read for the first 30 minutes, then play active, fun, educational camp style games. Program runs on Wednesday afternoons from 12:45pm-1:45pm, starting January 30.

At Community of Hearts Lifelong Learning Centre, Boxes of Hearts is a social enterprise that runs Tuesday evenings (4:00-6:00) and Saturday mornings (10:30-12:20). Our team makes and sells homemade dog biscuits within the community. Volunteers are needed to assist our workers with production and packaging.
