Volunteers will work with PIN Networks' Volunteerism Ambassador and assist at events, pop-ups, resource development, campaigns and presentations. Tasks are flexible to the needs of the program and volunteers' interests, skills or learning goals. These may include: supporting in-person events (volunteer fairs, pop-up tables), preparing for presentations (research, script writing, slide development, speaking), assisting with digital media (type, infographic), campaign development and implantation or other tasks as interest, skill and program needs arise.
Shift times and schedule may vary from week to week based on availability and program needs.

This role is a great fit for someone who is passionate about volunteerism, would like to learn more about community services or would like to gain experience working in an outreach role.
The Guelph and District Multicultural Festival had its beginnings as a small downtown event in 1978. It has since moved to Riverside Park, attendance has increased from 2,000 to 25,000 people and generates cultural awareness and funding for local community groups, as well as foster economic development in Guelph and beyond.
The Guelph & District Multicultural Festival relies heavily on an enthusiastic group of volunteers. Due to Covid-19, our organization has evolved beyond just a 3-day Festival. We now have several different positions that focus on ensuring our ethnic communities and youth group are engaged. We strongly believe it is through these engagements we can create a culturally diverse and inclusive community.
Volunteer Fundraising Coordinators set up and manage donation drives during the
Festival. Coordinate before, during, and after the Festival and through social
media. If you are interested in fundraising, marketing & promotions, social
media and event coordination, this role is for you. We want to fill this
volunteer position with an individual who is creative, organized and likes to
engage with the general public.
GDMF is committed Inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility are all values that we hold dear. We seek to provide an environment that allows all participants to thrive. We encourage applications from people of all races, ethnicities, religions, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
