Duties

The Guelph Jazz Festival strives to present music that reflects the world in which we live and to make it accessible to the broadest audience through concerts, educational initiatives, and free programs.

Fans of world-class creative improvised music can mark their calendars; the 2022 Guelph Jazz Festival will take place 15-18 September, and once again feature a range of exciting free and ticketed live-music experiences. While we remain attentive to shifting public health conditions, we are working to mount a festival with a structure similar to pre-pandemic versions of the GJF. As we continue to track and, as needed, adapt to these conditions, we are planning to announce our programming as well as box office information in the second half of June. Check www.guelphjazzfestival.com often for updates but, from here, plan on a full long weekend of music in mid-September.

Guelph Jazz Festival volunteers are a vital part of fulfilling our vision to present excellent, unconventional live music.

Various volunteer positions are available this year including (but not limited to!); Market Square support, Green Room, Box Office, Set up/Clear out Crew members, pre-festival tasks...
