DutiesAs the Route Lead, you are responsible for mapping out a 1km and 5km route, managing all route volunteers, and ensuring the requirements of the local municipality and the event minimum standards (provided) are met. You will be tasked with creating a route map that includes start and finish lines, road closures, route markers and water stations (where applicable). You will be required to prepare and submit applications for various permits including road closures and police services as well as soliciting quotes from service providers and submitting agreements and invoices to the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the set-up, tear down and clean-up of the Run route and for creating and maintaining a logistics file of contacts and timelines that will be shared with the Run Director(s).
