DutiesAre you a stroke survivor or caregiver? Our hospital peer visitors visit new stroke survivors within the hospital environment providing help with recovery by providing hope, hands-on-tangible knowledge to manage the emotional and physical stages of stroke using hope, optimism and encouragement. We are currently recruiting for Grand River Hospital-KW Site, Grand River Hospital-Freeport Site, Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Guelph General Hospital and St. Joseph's Health Centre Guelph.

They will also attend 4 mandatory training sessions throughout the year.
TransportationNear public transit ; There is public transportation within Guelph. You you prefer a hospital outside of the city for example Fergus or Palmerston you must supply your own transportation.

Additional RequirementsYou will need to ensure that all your immunizations are up-to-date and provide this information. You will also have to have a TB Test.
