DutiesReStore Assistants work with ReStore staff and other volunteers to run the day-to-day operations of the store. Volunteers put together product, merchandise product, clean and organize sections of the store, help customers in finding products that suit their needs and carrying and loading purchases into their vehicles, receive donations at the warehouse entrance, and test donated products before they go on the sales floor.
For those who are interested in helping to promote the ReStore and our products online, you can support our online retail initiatives.
You may also be asked to consider receiving training on driving our trucks in order to support our donation pick-up team. Having a roster of trained and insured drivers is vital to ensure our Donation Pick-Up Service can be provided to our community.
Individuals who complete a minimum number of hours in the store and who have an acceptable police records check completed are eligible to receive training on the cash register. This is a great opportunity to develop/utilize your customer service skills!
