DutiesVolunteers are needed to welcome and engage with visitors and clients at the GuelphCHC. Duties include: Connecting community members with health/social resources; Coordinate with staff & other volunteers to maintain accurate database. Answering phones or in person requests and helping visitors get the resources they need.

Volunteers will also develop and explore career options, have hands on experience in a busy front desk or reception area, discover new talents, learn new skills, increase self-confidence and gain experience working with at risk individuals and people from different backgrounds. This volunteer position would be a great way to learn about community resources and services available. This position offers a high level of interaction with community members. Training and ongoing support are provided. 
Volunteers work in teams of 2 and are supported by staff that are near by.
