DutiesVolunteers support families by providing childcare to one or more children in the family home to give the parent/guardian a break and respite. Volunteers interact with the children through play, crafts, activities and games. Some childcare volunteers assist with childcare for parents/guardians who are attending groups and meetings on site, case conferences etc. Volunteers will engage children through play, crafts and activities.

Group Childcare would mean working with other volunteers and a group of children while parents are attending groups.

Dates and Times3-4 hours a week, day of week is flexible and dependent on the needs of the family. 
Childcare for groups and meetings occur weekly.

TransportationMost opportunities may be on a bus route, other may not. Access to a car would be an asset but not required.
