DutiesPregnancy to parenting program is a free weekly group session for pregnant people in Guelph who are facing challenges or barriers to their health. Through this program, participants have access to nutrition counseling, prenatal vitamins, access to healthful food, breastfeeding education and support, information and support for infant care or child development and referrals to other agencies and services.  
Volunteers play a vital role in supporting this program by providing supervised childcare. This allows participants to fully engage and participate with the program content. Childcare gives participants a break and some time for themselves and their own care. 
Duties include: 
- Assist program staff with set up and cleanup 
- Greet and welcome children and caregivers 
- Interact and engage with children during program time 
- Notify program staff of any concerns 
- Attend agency orientation and development opportunities 
Volunteers in this role MUST enjoy working with small children. 2 references and a valid Vulnerable Sector Check are required for this role.  
Volunteers are asked to Review and abide by Guelph CHC’s policy on PLACE, Pandemic requirements for screening and stay home if unwell.
