DutiesA mentor spends one-on-one time with a child ages 5-12 and is a positive role-model and provides support, guidance and a listening ear. This position is also responsible to plan weekly activities and engage in positive recreational and enriching activities in the community. The volunteer provides the child with opportunities that the child would otherwise not have access to.

ClientsChildren from ages 5-12 who are clients of Family and Childrens' Services and require a positive and caring mentor.

TransportationSome opportunities may be on a bus route, other may not. Access to a car would be an asset.
CostReimbursement of expenses and mileage based on program budget and policy.
