| Description (Service) | COVID-19 Update: Phone number is monitored periodically; e-newsletters are temporarily on hold. Let's Talk Pregnancy, Let's Talk Parenting: free e-newsletters for women who are pregnant or considering pregnancy, and parents of babies and young children. E-mails are sent monthly with seasonal topics; links are provided for age specific topics from before birth to age 5 years. Each e-newsletter has helpful information: * articles on pregnancy and parenting topics (preparing for labour and birth, tips to avoid environmental toxins, healthy eating, sleep routines, toilet learning, physical activity, speech and language milestones, etc) * information about where to access local resources or get support from organizations such as EarlyON Child and Family Centres * reminders to schedule age appropriate appointments such as eye and dental examinations * updates on local programs and services in the community such as publicly funded immunization clinics and free dental care |
