Description (Service) | Outpatient clinic that performs overnight sleep studies to screen for various sleep problems and disorders. Following analysis of the sleep study, the Sleep Physician reviews the results with the patient. A second study may be necessary if the patient requires treatment for breathing problems (sleep apnea). If diagnosed with sleep apnea, the most common treatment is a CPAP machine used at night to help maintain breathing. * Sleep physicians in Guelph: Dr J Nemni, Dr V Shende and Dr J Le **NOTE: sleep studies are generally not indicated for insomnia |
