Description (Service) Bus pass subsidy program designed to increase affordability and minimize barriers in accessing public transit. 
**Affordable Bus Pass is valid for 12 months from the month application is approved
Hours Community Investment Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Sep-Jun * Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4 pm, Jul-Aug  
Guelph Transit Administration Office Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm
Areas Served Guelph
Eligibility Must be a Guelph resident * youth, adults and seniors experiencing barriers to accessing public transit based on low family income as per Statistics Canada LICO measure (low income cut off) * individuals and families * includes post secondary students, except University of Guelph full-time students with U-pass 
**If financial or residency circumstances change or the program is no longer required for other reasons, it is the pass holder's responsibility to inform Community Investment, City of Guelph

Affordable bus passes and application forms available at ServiceGuelph, City Hall, 1 Carden St ; West End Community Centre, 21 Imperial Rd S ; Victoria Road Recreation Centre, 151 Victoria Rd N ; Evergreen Seniors Community Centre, 683 Woolwich St ; Guelph Transit, 170 Watson Rd S ; or call 519-837-5618 (TTY 519-826-9771) to receive an application by mail 
Complete the application and ensure it is signed by all adults and any family members and dependants with income living at the same address (dependants younger than 18 years of age living with a parent cannot apply as individuals). Completed applications and required documentation may be dropped off at locations listed above or mailed to: Affordable Bus Pass Program, Community Investment, City of Guelph, 1 Carden St, Guelph ON N1H 3A1 
All complete applications are reviewed within 10 business days of being received by Community Investment. Applicants will receive notification by mail whether approval is granted for the Affordable Bus Pass. Current holders must reapply annually.
