Represents ethno-cultural, faith, and youth groups; settlement and non-settlement service providers from various sectors, including education, health care, social services, business, and government. |
Description (Service) | Collaborative framework for successful social and economic integration of newcomers * works to create a welcoming and inclusive community Four priority areas: meaningful employment, service coordination and access, grassroots connections, research The City of Guelph is Project Sponsor and the project is managed through a Leadership Council and four Action Committees. Leadership Council provides strategic direction and develops settlement strategy. Action Committees oversee implementation of settlement strategy by taking up specific projects. |
