Description (Agency) Community-based coalition with members comprising immigrants / newcomers and others interested in immigration issues and representing ethno-cultural, faith, and youth groups, settlement and non-settlement service providers from various sectors - education, health care, social services, business, and government.
Description (Service) Collaborative framework for successful social and economic integration of newcomers * works to create a welcoming and inclusive community 
 
Four priority areas: meaningful employment, entrepreneurship and business, service coordination and access, awareness and inclusion 
 
The City of Guelph is Project Sponsor and the project is managed through a Leadership Council and four Action Committees. 
Leadership Council provides strategic direction and develops settlement strategy. 
Action Committees oversee implementation of settlement strategy by taking up specific projects.
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm * Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4 pm, Jul-Aug 
Quarterly meetings of GWLIP Leadership Council and monthly meetings of Action Committees
