| Description (Service) | Collective Kitchens are food programs that provide kitchen facilities where groups of people meet regularly to cook affordable meals * learn and share skills (budgeting, shopping, preparation of healthy food) * money saved through bulk buying, cost sharing, use of seasonal foods * usually meet once or twice a month * food prepared in large quantities, then divided to take home * opportunities for social support Note: Not all groups have kitchens operating at all times.
