Description (Service) Wide range of clinics, classes and courses:  
* prenatal and parent-child support programs, prenatal nutrition, breastfeeding, speech and language, KIDS LINE  
* immunization clinics, flu, travel advice and vaccinations, general immunization  
* sexual health clinics, free and confidential, birth control options, sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment, pregnancy tests and counselling, hepatitis A and B immunizations, anonymous HIV tests  
* school health clinic, immunization program, health promotion and education, Food and Friends nutrition programs, dental screenings with financial assistance through CINOT (Children in Need of Treatment) to cover cost of urgent dental care for children in eligible low-income families  
* control of infectious / communicable diseases, services to investigate and report  
* harm reduction, needle exchange program, counselling and referrals, hepatitis B and C testing 
* travel clinics and vaccinations 
 
Other Services include:  
* air quality concerns in public buildings, schools or rented dwellings  
* food premises inspection  
* Safe Food Handling Certification  
* monitor quality of drinking and recreational water, testing private well water  
* information and investigation of situations where public health may be affected
