Description (Service) Provides a number of free dental services for children and youth.

Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO): preventive, routine, and emergency dental services for children and youth whose families meet income eligibility requirements; treatment coverage includes regular check-ups, cleaning, fillings (cavity), X-rays, scaling, tooth extraction, urgent or emergency dental care including toothache or tooth pain

Preventive Dental Services: free dental cleanings for children and youth
Hours Public Health offices Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm * dental clinic times vary by location
Areas Served Dufferin County ; Guelph ; Wellington County
Eligibility Ages: 17 year(s) and under 
Parent(s) / guardian(s) are required to complete an application with disclosure of personal information including financial documentation  
* children are 17 years and younger, reside in Ontario, and live in a low-income household (see eligibility criteria)  
* children are automatically eligible if they or their family receive Ontario Works, Temporary Care Assistance, Ontario Disability Support Program, or Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities
