Description (Agency) | Member of Wellington Transportation Services, a network of service providers who believe every resident of Wellington County should have access to transportation, and that residents deserve necessary transportation supports, services, and programming that is integral to their well being. |
Description (Service) | Coordinates rides to medical, legal, counselling, food bank and social service appointments. Also provides: * rides for educational upgrading (through Wellington County Learning Centre and Upper Grand Continuing Education) * rides to employment agencies and job interviews * short-term transportation can be provided for jobs or educational purposes while client pursues permanent transportation * other types of rides may be provided upon approval **Community Resource Centre provides transportation referrals to other participating service providers such as: Family and Children's Services, VON Canada, and East Wellington Community Services |

Eligibility | Ages: 64 year(s) and under Must be a resident of Centre Wellington, Wellington North or Mapleton Townships or Town of Minto Must not have any other means of transportation. Must fit within Community Resource Centre's low income criteria. Must not be eligible for transportation with other service providers. **Individuals who do not meet eligibility requirements will be referred to the appropriate agency within Wellington Transportation Services** |
