Description (Service) | Assists the public to access library resources, including print and non-print collections of materials in order to meet informational and reading needs of patrons. Services include: * information and reference services * adult book club * children's programs * internet access * book drop facilities * calendar of events (see website or call for details) Extension Services provides access to library materials for Special Needs patrons. Visiting Library Services: complimentary home delivery service of library books to those adult card holders who cannot visit the library because of a physical or mental infirmity or advanced age Talking Books: full text books read onto cassette tapes, available for customers unable to use regular print due to blindness or a visual, physical, or reading disability Tutor.com Live Homework Help: online tutoring service featuring expert tutors from across North America. This free service allows students from Kindergarten through early university and college years, and adult learners, to connect to tutors for one-to-one homework help sessions **Help is available in math, science, social studies, and English Makerspace: Enjoy the following hands-on technologies and resources in this community Makerspace: * 3D printers * Glowforge® 3D laser cutter * Cricut® machine * computerized embroidery machine * holographic projector * robotics including Ozobots and Cubelets * gaming room with Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Oculus Go * computers with Adobe Creative Suite software including Photoshop and Premiere Elements * sound and video recording room including equipment and editing software * digitizing station with a photo and film scanner, plus VHS to digital file converter, for family videos and photo albums Book an appointment for the Makerspace by e-mailing makerspace@guelphpl.ca or call 519-829-4404. |

When applying for a card, identification is required and proof of Guelph address. Residents of Cambridge and Wellington County may obtain a free Reciprocal Borrowing Membership. **Library cards are available for a fee to other non-residents Talking Books are restricted, due to copyright by the producers, to those persons who qualify for this service. |
