Description (Agency) Fights climate change by helping people reduce energy and water use. Promoting smart behaviour, policy and improved efficiency helps Guelph build a road map to beat climate change and achieve 100% renewable energy by 2050 and a more diversified local economy that can save people money.
Description (Service) Facilitates projects that address priority issues and encourages community-wide actions as a way to accelerate progress. Connects Guelph citizens with solutions that maximize resource efficiency and community well-being.

Runs the Home Tune-Up Program in collaboration with the City of Guelph, Union Gas, and Alectra Utilities (formerly Guelph Hydro); works with multi-residential buildings, individuals and households to help them make their dwellings more sustainable by removing barriers to conservation.

100% Renewable Guelph Initiative, powered by eMERGE, spreads awareness and knowledge on transitioning to a 100% renewable energy future. Through events, talks and community discussions, eMERGE removes barriers to renewable energy adoption in Guelph.
