Description (Service) Message to our Community: During the COVID-19 pandemic, PIN Team Members continue to work remotely and may be accessed through e-mail and by phone. Services and programs include:

Volunteer Services - promotes volunteerism in the community and provides information about specific opportunities to volunteer by telephone, publicly accessible online database and drop in

Membership Services - available to local nonprofits and registered charities

Best Practices in Volunteer Screening - works with nonprofit organizations in Guelph to ensure appropriate volunteer screening policies and practices are in place

Community Information Program - information about nonprofit and charitable organizations, government services, and community groups by telephone, publicly accessible online database and drop in

Training and Consultation - public workshops and custom training on topics related to nonprofit management, board governance and volunteer management (offered through Waterloo-Wellington Learning Alliance)

Snow Angels - recruits, trains and matches volunteers with eligible residents in need of snow removal assistance
