Description (Agency) Medical alert service provided by Philips Lifeline Canada in partnership with Guelph General Hospital.
Description (Service) Clients include anyone at home at risk for falls, managing a medical condition, or chronic conditions such as stroke, heart conditions, diabetes, Parkinson's, ALS, or considering a move to an assisted living facility. 
Electronic equipment is placed in the client's home by the Lifeline Home Service Representative * Personal Help Button worn on a wristband or pendant is linked to the telephone and used to connect with a Lifeline Response Associate who assesses the situation and arranges for appropriate assistance 
**Landline not required * new service "GoSafe" mobile button works anywhere, home and outside 
**New service "Lifeline with Wandering" offers caregivers notifications and updates on their loved one's whereabouts 
**Lifeline partners with hospitals, community agencies, and seniors facilities in many communities across Canada
