Description & Services
Description (Agency) Community-based program for youth that provides an opportunity to learn about the naval and maritime environment through participation in a variety of activities on and off the water. 
Supports the objectives of the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets program in collaboration with the Department of National Defence.
Description (Service) Due to COVID-19, the cadet program and all of its activities are currently suspended. Questions will be answered and information provided via email at until such time as re-opening is permitted. 
Sea cadet activities specialize in sailing, seamanship, shipboard life, naval communications, power boat handling, boat repair, and marine engineering. 
* various leadership roles offered within a positive, supportive environment 
* participation in ceremonial events and citizenship activities that foster connection with Canadian naval heritage  
* opportunities for ship deployments and international exchanges for selected senior cadets 
* develops self-confidence, professionalism, integrity and mutual respect among participants 
* summer training opportunities for cadets who participate in the year round program 
**Cadet Program is a federally-sponsored youth program that includes the Royal Canadian Army, Sea, and Air Cadets
