Description (Agency) Collaboration of community groups, service providers and interested citizens to help reduce suicide and its impact on the community.
Description (Service) Raises awareness and understanding of suicide through information, education and resource coordination * identifies gaps in support 
**Collaborative partners include community organizations, individual citizens, mental health service providers, grief / bereavement support groups, hospital and emergency services, schools and self help groups 
NOTE: The Council does not offer counselling/crisis support
Hours Regular schedule of meetings annually and ad hoc meetings as required
