Description (Agency) Provides food, shelter and basic necessities of daily living.
Description (Service) Meals, friendship, support and guidance on a drop-in basis * serves two meals a day at 11 am and 2 pm. Services include:
* emergency assistance with rent arrears, utility disconnection and discretionary help as required to maintain housing for low income individuals and families
* access to social services - outreach workers from the Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington, Guelph Community Health Centre
* assistance with foot care
* emergency shelters for adults and families
* support workers, Specialized Outreach Services (SOS)
* nursing support - Guelph Community Health Centre

Union Gas Winter Warmth Program: will assess individuals for eligibility to receive assistance with heating bills; program runs all year
