Public Comments Throughout 2020 the Rotary Club of Guelph will celebrate its Centennial Year via various events that will include a charter luncheon (Feb), Gala Event (Apr 25), and four Centennial themed videos that can be viewed on Facebook and Twitter. Banners celebrating Rotary in Guelph will line Norfolk St from Spring to Fall; Riverside Park Floral Clock will have a Rotary theme; the Rotary Trail from Guelph to Guelph Lake will be completed; Rotary display in the Guelph Civic Museum; History Book celebrating 100 years of the Rotary Club of Guelph; Rotary Forest Day Apr 25, 2020.

Description (Agency) Meets weekly for fellowship and the opportunity to provide service to local and worldwide communities through project support, fundraising and direct involvement in community activities.
Description (Service) Projects include: 
* Canada Day celebrations: all day family picnic in Riverside Park with concerts, games, food and fireworks; entirely run by Rotarians, sponsored by many local organizations 
* tree planting: in cooperation with the Grand River Conservation Authority 
* Sparkles in the Park: businesses are invited to sponsor a Christmas lights display in Riverside Park from mid- Dec ending New Year's Eve with a fireworks display; proceeds to community projects 
* Lobsterfest: raises funds to support local community organizations and projects 
* youth mentoring: mentoring talks and participation with youth in the schools  
* 3H Projects in Tanzania, Uganda, Cameroon, Guatemala: teaching local people to develop projects to help themselves; help given to a local shelter and school for those with leprosy 
* Polio Plus: part of an international Rotary effort to eradicate polio worldwide 
* supports KidsAbility program
