Description (Agency) Regulatory body under a provincial Act that offers professional designations for practitioners in agriculture, environmental remediation, agri-business, food quality assurance and stewardship.
Description (Service) Establishes competency practice standards 
* licensing of qualified practitioners 
* ensures public trust in the health and safety of Ontario‚Äôs agriculture, agri-environmental, agri-food and agri-business sectors  
* application of science-based principles in evaluating, formulating and advising on the protection of the environment, health and public welfare

Professionals in agriculture or related fields; persons who earn or have earned a 4-year degree and / or 2-year diploma in agriculture or related agri-business, environmental or agri-life science discipline.
