Description (Agency) Encourages and stimulates interest in the history of Guelph within the community.
Description (Service) Activities include: 
* research, preservation, advancement of area history 
* presentation / discussion of historical information related primarily to Guelph area 
* publishing of local historical information 
* identification of local sites of historical interest 
* cooperation with other historical societies / related organizations 
Evening with History lecture series, annual bus trip, and other events.
Hours Public meetings with speakers are held the first Tue of the month 7:30 pm-9:30 pm, Oct-Dec, Feb-Apr * seven board meetings held each year
