Description & Services
Description (Agency) Rescues, rehabilitates and protects abandoned, neglected or abused donkeys, mules and hinnies. Education programs onsite for visitors and a separate education program for equine owners and workers.
Description (Service) COVID-19 Update: Sanctuary Farm is closed to visitors and volunteers until further notice. 
 
Provides a lifelong home for animals admitted to DSC 
* Humane Education Program promotes concepts of stewardship of animals and land 
* group guided tours for special interest groups 
* sanctuary does not buy, sell or breed animals
Hours Seasonally Sun 10 am-3 pm, May-Oct 
Also open the four Sundays before Christmas

Eligibility Must be 16 years old to volunteer. Visitors 12 years and younger must be under the direct supervision of an adult at all times. 
Strollers, wagons, food, drink are not permitted in the barnyard area.
