Description (Agency) National organization of women (approximately 8,000 members in over 100 clubs across Canada) committed to the pursuit of knowledge, promotion of education, building social networks, improvement of the status of women and human rights, and active participation in public affairs. 
Supports CFUW Guelph and its Scholarship Fund, CFUW Ontario Council, CFUW National.
Description (Service) Activities include: 
* advocacy at all levels of government on issues related to women and human rights 
* encourages participation in the political process 
* scholarships and awards to local female students attending post secondary institutions 
* various interest and action groups available to members
