Description (Service) COVID-19 Update: Tax filing season for individuals has been extended from Apr 30 to Jun 1, 2020, for charities Dec 31, 2020.
* some call centre services may be closed or have long wait times; phone lines receiving COVID-19 inquiries only
* Community Volunteer Income Tax Program: many clinics canceled or postponed
* Canadian Emergency Response Benefit: visit CERB with CRA website for information and to apply online
NOTE: Apply through either Service Canada or the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) -- not both

Eligibility Canada Child Benefit (CCB): Families with children under the age of 18 years * must live with the child and be a resident of Canada * might include the Child Disability Benefit and any related provincial and territorial programs 
Canada Learning Bond is available to families who receive the National Child Benefit Supplement or who are recipients of Ontario Works. Children must meet these criteria:  
* born on or after Jan 1, 2004  
* have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) 
* from a low-income family 
* reside in Canada
