Description (Agency) | Works in partnership with the City of Guelph to operate the Evergreen Seniors Community Centre to promote seniors' activities and services. Committed to providing inclusive opportunities to enable older adults to be active, involved, make friends and age with dignity. |
Description (Service) | COVID-19 Update: GWSA has suspended its face-to-face program until seniors programs can resume safely. In the interim, many activity groups are meeting virtually. Please visit the GWSA website for the most current information. Organizes special events and public interest forums, in addition to activities and services available throughout the year. * half-day social recreational program * Feeling Better Eat Well Nutrition Support * Feeling Better Move Well (in-home and group exercise) * telephone support and referral / telephone visiting * CSS Educational Series (usually held twice per year) To learn more about programs and activities for seniors, see Evergreen Seniors Community Centre and Guelph Wellington Seniors Association website |
