Description & Services
Description (Service) Various supports to address access issues related to municipal recreation and leisure programs and services and to help residents with disabilities access these programs.  
Services include: 
* Leisure Access Card (LAC): entitles card holder to pay reduced rate for many Community Services courses and programs  
* Personal Assistant for Leisure Activities Card (PAL): issued to person with the disability to allow accompaniment by a friend, relative, support worker at no additional cost 
* Fee Assistance in Recreation Program (FAIR) and Free to Play: discount can be used for a combination of passes, punch passes and classes  
* subsidy for groups for persons with disabilities  
 
Refugee Support Pilot Program includes temporary free access to participate in public swimming / skating offered at a number of City facilities 
(Note: Does not include participation in any registered swimming / skating programs or lessons)

Leisure Access Card (LAC): available to persons 18 years and older with a disability; 
Personal Assistant for Leisure Activities Card (PAL): for persons with disabilities who require assistance to attend City of Guelph recreation programs 
Fee Assistance in Recreation Program (FAIR): for adults / seniors (18 years and older, with or without a disability) who live in Guelph and are unable to attend recreation programs due to financial constraints ; 18 years and younger apply directly to Children's Foundation - Free to Play 
Refugee Support Pilot Program - available to persons who came to Canada as a refugee, arrived within the past 12 months
