| Description (Service) | Officers supervise persons on: * probation or conditional sentence by all courts of criminal jurisdiction * parole by the Ontario Parole Board Also supervise adults referred by other federal and provincial correctional authorities and provide information related to supervised adults for the benefit of the Judiciary, Ontario Parole Board, Temporary Absence Program and institutional treatment personnel. Provision of other assistance through the Probation and Parole Officers, such as addressing criminal behaviours, case management decisions, determination of rehabilitative interventions and cooperative arrangements with government agencies. |
