Description (Service) | COVID-19 Update: ALL shelter services are temporarily closed, call for information and assistance. Emergency shelter program for males and females: Stepping Stone Men's Shelter: emergency food and housing for men; referrals to social workers and community services (mental health, addictions, financial assistance depending on the needs of the individual) Dwelling Place Women's Shelter: emergency, overnight accommodation to women and children up to age 12; within walking distance of downtown. Motel Shelter Program: Motel rooms are offered to families experiencing homelessness; stay is on a week-by-week basis **A shelter overflow process exists - no one is turned away |
