Description & Services
Description (Agency) The network has been devoted to promoting literacy issues and programs to the community, bringing literacy practitioners together, and improving service delivery. This mandate of information and support remains the heart of the organization.
Description (Service) Provides any adult or family in Waterloo Wellington with access to literacy training.

As the umbrella organization representing literacy programs in Waterloo-Wellington, Project READ provides information on and referral to literacy programs, literacy assessments, public awareness and education, resource centre, professional development for members groups, literacy service planning, clear language consultation.

Get Set Learn: Free 8-week family literacy program for parents with children age birth to 4. Helps parents get pre-school children ready for school. Babies welcome also. During the pandemic this program is online.
