Description & Services
DescriptionOffers recreation, education and fitness opportunities along with special event and workshops geared specifically to adults aged 55+ to promote emotional, social and physical well-being. The Centre is operated by the Township of Centre Wellington, Parks & Recreation Department.  
Facilities include: two large activity rooms, a full kitchen, a craft room, billiards room, reading/library corner, foot clinic room and a computer lab. 
Programs & Services include: 
*Health & Wellness (Blood Pressure Clinics, Arthritis Education, Foot Care Clinic, CNIB Low Vision Clinic, Hearing Clinics, Reflexology, Chair Massage)  
*Life Long Learning (Book Club, weekly seminars & workshops on topics of interest to older adults) 
*Leisure interest groups (daytime & evening computer classes, fitness & dance, creative arts & music, general interest, walking groups) 
*Cards & Games (euchre, bid euchre, bridge, canasta, cribbage, chess, darts, table tennis, scrabble, shuffleboard, snooker) 
*Special Events (Christmas Bazaars, Fashion Show, New Members Receptions, Peach Socials, Dessert & Euchre Parties, Strawberry Social, Poker Walks, Drama Group Performances) 
*Weekly Hot Lunch, coffee & refreshments available all day everyday 
*Bus Trips (scheduled monthly) 
*Other Services (Garden Fresh Box, Crafts Room with craft for sale to the public)

Eligibility55+ for membership. Adults of any age can take part in the programs offered at the Centre. They pay the non-member price.
