DescriptionCommunity out-patient program for individuals struggling with addiction issues. Individual, family and group counselling available. 
 
Programs include: 
*workshops and support groups for adult family members and friends affected by addiction. 
*Youth Services (ages 12-18): at all high schools in Guelph and Wellington County and at two schools in Dufferin County. Youth Services can be accessed through the Guidance department. 
*Problem Gambling Program: individual counselling, education groups, support groups and public education events for individuals and/or families affected by gambling.  
*Gambling Craving Helpline: recorded message that provides information and steps to help the caller cope with urges and cravings. 
 
*Night of Inspiration: presentation and guest speaker that focus on the topic of recovery. The presentation is followed by a question and answer period. Offered every three months.Registration is required.
Sup. DescriptionProgram is part of the Addiction Division, which offers a continuum of care, from health promotion activities to assessment and out-patient counselling, to residential treatment.

ApplicationIntake by telephone; will arrange individual screening appointments.  
Assessments are conducted at agency offices, schools and other locations. If necessary, patients will be referred to other services or programs within the Homewood Addiction Division, or the appropriate agency.
