DescriptionSupport services for people living with ALS and their families * works with provincial ALS societies to improve patient quality of life * builds public awareness * funds research toward a cure 
 
Services include: 
* information and referral services 
* referrals to counselling and support groups 
* peer support 
* educational materials 
* training about ALS to health care providers and caregivers 
* equipment program (loan and purchase assistance, limited financial assistance for ADP-assistive devices) 
* support and caregiver groups 
* community and provincially based fundraising activities
